1GO Designer Terms & Conditions (T&C)
LAST UPDATED: 2024-12-21
Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the 1GO Designer initiative (“Event”) organized by Negdims Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “Organizer”). By participating in the Event or submitting your work, you (“User,” “Participant,” or “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
1. Overview and Scope
-
Event Description
-
1GO Designer is a global creative challenge for designers. We publish fictional company case studies weekly, providing participants with realistic design scenarios covering branding, UI/UX, marketing materials, product design, and more.
-
-
Who May Participate
-
These Terms apply to all individuals or teams submitting work for the Event. By submitting your design(s), you confirm that you have the legal capacity and authority to agree to these Terms.
-
2. Submission of Work and Copyright
-
Originality Requirement
-
All submitted designs, including images, videos, textual explanations, etc. (“Works”), must be original to you.
-
You must not plagiarize or include any third-party copyrighted materials without explicit written permission.
-
-
Ownership of Copyright
-
You retain all copyrights and ownership of your submitted Work(s), unless otherwise agreed in writing with Negdims Inc.
-
-
License and Usage
-
License Grant: By participating, you grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sub-licensable license solely for the purposes of promoting, displaying, and evaluating your Work(s) in connection with the Event (both online and offline).
-
Author Attribution: We will include appropriate credit or attribution to you as the creator of the Work(s) whenever we display them.
-
Non-Commercial Purposes: The Organizer will not use or license your Work(s) for any commercial or profit-driven activities unrelated to this Event (e.g., selling or licensing your Work to third parties for profit, or using it to bid on real corporate design projects).
-
Printed Materials: For promotional or Event-related materials (e.g., posters, brochures, banners), we may reproduce and display your Work(s) without further approval, provided your authorship is clearly stated.
-
-
Inclusion and Withdrawal of Work
-
Self-Published Works: If you post your Work(s) on your personal social media, you are free to edit or remove it at any time.
-
Notification Before Inclusion: If the Organizer decides to officially include your Work(s) (e.g., on the official website, in featured collections, or special promotions), we will notify you in advance.
-
Post-Inclusion Policy: Once your Work has been included in the Organizer’s official channels, you may not request its removal. However, if you need to correct minor errors (e.g., typos or design mistakes), you may submit a modification request to contact@negdims.com within 5 days after receiving the notice of inclusion.
-
3. Fictional Case Studies and Disputes
-
Nature of the Case Studies
-
The case studies published for the Event are fictional and intended to simulate real-world business scenarios for educational and creative exploration.
-
Any similarity to real companies is coincidental, and no real-world affiliation is implied.
-
-
Potential Conflicts with Real Entities
-
If you or a third party become aware that a published “fictional” case may inadvertently infringe on a real company’s intellectual property or other rights, please contact us at contact@negdims.com.
-
Upon verified notice, we may modify or take down that specific case study if necessary. However, we cannot force other participants to remove their previously submitted or publicly posted Works, as they remain under the participant’s control.
-
-
Watermark and Disclaimer
-
We recommend that you watermark your designs with a statement such as: “This case is unrelated to any real enterprise. Created by [Your Name] for non-commercial design sharing.”
-
